Registering an Account.
In order to fully access the games and other content on Two Bit Arcade users are given the option to create an account. When you do so you must provide a user name, password and valid e-mail address. We do not require or recommend that this information personally identify users. We recommend users create an anonymous e-mail account with a free service such as gmail for all online transactions and to use random strings of letters and numbers to create passwords. Two Bit Arcade uses this information to charge accounts for game transactions.

Cookies and Sessions.
In order to provide a seamless browsing and gaming experience Two Bit Arcade uses php session variables to process account information on our servers. Part of this process includes the use of "cookies." A cookie is a tasty treat, but also can be a small text file that does not personably identify a user but does identify a users computer. Cookies do not pose a threat to your computer. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change this feature in your browser. Please be aware that disabling cookies may make it impossible to log on to your Two Bit Arcade account.

IP Address
Your IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer by your ISP. It is used to identify your computer on the Internet. Two Bit Arcade uses your IP address to determine site statistics and to administer our web site.

Ordering Online
When you order game tokens or merchandise from Two Bit Arcade you are using a third party service to complete these transactions. We use Pay Pal to process credit card orders. Please see the privacy policy posted on the Pay Pal web site. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing personal information to third parties.

User Profiles
After creating an account, users have the option to add personal information in the form of a user profile. This information is immediately available to the general public. Please carefully consider what information you wish to provide. There is no requirement to use this feature to access any portion of the site. There is no requirement or expectation that this information be accurate either.

Public Forums
Although these features are not yet in place, Two Bit Arcade may provide forums, user reviews, chat clients and message boards to its users. Use of these, and the entire site is governed by our Terms of Use. Please be aware that any information you disclose in these areas becomes public information. You should not disclose personal information while using these features.

Two Bit Arcade contains links to other web sites. We cannot be responsible for their content or for private information that they collect.

Two Bit Arcade attempts to protect all personal information we collect. We do not sell or rent customer lists. However, we cannot completely ensure that your private communications and other personal information will not be disclosed to others. For example, under certain circumstances we may be required to disclose information to law enforcement agencies and there is always the possibility that individuals may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
